What areas do you provide service?

We provide service to Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties in Oregon as well as Clark County in Washington.

Is Discount Cremation of Portland locally owned and operated?

We are 100% locally owned and operated. We do not have multiple offices in big cities or throughout the area like many other providers do.

We have one office and are committed to serving the families in our community.

What do we do when our loved one passes?

When your loved one passes you will need to call 503-928-8592 and notify us in order to have a team member transport your loved one into

our care.

Please Note: If the death was sudden or unexpected and they were not on hospice, in a hospital or licensed facility call 911 to report the death before calling us.

What information will we need to give when calling Discount Cremation of Portland?

We will need the name of the decedent, the address where they are located, the caller’s name, phone number and relationship as well as

any additional pertinent information such as the approximate weight of the person, if there are lots of stairs, etc.

Can we come into your office to make arrangements?

At this time, all arrangements with us need to be completed online, this simplifies the process and helps us keep our costs as low as possible. If your family would like to meet with a funeral director in person we can recommend a local funeral home to serve you.

How long until we receive the cremated remains of our loved one?
The process usually takes 10 - 15 business days.

Where do we go to pick up the cremated remains of our loved one?

You will make an appointment with our office in Portland.
